ROUNDUP: UPolo Finals 2015

This season's UPolo British Championships was the biggest and best to date. With 20 teams playing in 32 back-to-back matches, the non-stop action at Cardiff International Pool saw the best uni teams in the country battle it out to win the UPolo Cup and Shield.

We are planning big things for the 2015/16 season ahead, including another show-stopping Finals. Right now, we'd like to reflect on this season's competition and give a huge thank you to all the teams who played their part.

Durham Men Do The Cup & Shield Double!

Durham University made UPolo history by becoming the first team to win both the Cup and Shield. Congratulations to Durham Men's 1st and 2nd teams on being crowned respective champions.

 

 

Sheffield Hallam Win Cup

After going unbeaten all season, Sheffield Hallam fought hard to lift the trophy beating Cardiff Ladies in the finals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leeds Beckett Ladies Win Shield

Leeds Beckett Ladies saw off three other teams in their roun- robin group to be crowned the first ever champions of theUPolo Shield. Well done ladies!

EVENT T-SHIRTS

No Champs would be complete without custom t-shirts specialled designed for the 2015 Finals.

And for the first time, MVP (Most Valuable Player) t-shirts were gifted to every team who attended the finals. These lucky recipients look proud as punch - well deserved lads.
